A native Montrealer, I am currently engaged in a long delayed PhD adventure at York University. I originally received my B.A. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY in 1996. After working for five years at Harvard University in Boston, MA, I returned to Canada, completing a Masters in Environmental Studies in 2004. In the coming years, I am looking forward to fulfilling my abiding passion in Himalayan and social movement studies.
It seems that the world media is finally noticing the significant goings on at the Nathu La border crossing. BBC's diplomatic correspondent is on the spot and will be issuing a series of reports from the border, where BBC has exclusive access.
